What is wrong with Alexa and Feed Counts

Is it just me or others also seeing this that all the big blogs with huge number of feed readers are losing heavy alexa ranks ? I mean here are the alexa ranks of some of the sites -

DigitalPoint DDoS attack - Site down and Up again

Digitalpoint forums was down most of time for the last 24 hours due to DDos attack and may due to server hacking! The Introduction section of DP is full of hundreds of spam threads which still haven’t been removed giving suggestions that the database has got corrupted.
