Till as recently as 2006, people used to do lot of interlinking of their sites irrespective of relevancy and were easily able to make new sites ranks. Now in webmaster forums, this question often get asked whether it is a good idea to interlink your websites which are on same IP since such linking won’t look very natural.

1. IBP – I had used IBP in the past (full version) for a client and it looked pretty good to me. I think Its good for analysis purpose and to do keyword research as well as competition analysis but don’t expect it to do some magic. Well I personally do not rely on any SEO software due to the fact that I have never seen any good software which can replace manual work. Most of the SEO software which are in the market are either do keyword research or on page analysis and recommend you some suggestions on the basis of pre-existing information. The problem with this approach is that, these software often suggest thing which are way of the mark. Not to mention, most of the SEO software costs a lot too, though it’s understandable as the ROI on such software is very high so people don’t mind paying few hundred dollars.

Article submission is one of the finest form of link building and its something which still works and still carries lot of value. The only problem is its time consuming and can cost alot on pocket, not only that, other then ezinearticles and probably after goarticles, people kind of run out of good article sites which can give traffic. Last Year, I had put a list of 300+ article directories but really, submitting one article to 100s of article directories is not a great idea and you may be better of submitting 10 articles (derived from 2-3 articles) to best 10 article directories.
